Our work in the community.

The K2 team is passionate about playing an integral role in our community and supporting causes close to our hearts. Actively involved in fundraising and support for more than 20 years, we have had charitable relationships with:

• The Australian Cancer Research Foundation
• Cerebral Palsy Alliance
• Local community sporting clubs
• Local schools
• PSG Holdings
• Sydney Roosters
• Canberra Raiders

Cerebral Palsy alliance.

Developing the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Centre in Canberra was a rewarding experience that saw the provision of a state-of-the-art facility for the local community. The centre includes six therapy rooms, function and training space, a fully equipped gym and a workshop where technicians can manufacture and adapt mobility aids and other equipment. Working with local suppliers and professionals, the K2 team was able to deliver strategic savings and support to bring this important project to life.

PSG HOLDINGS.

K2 has been a great supporter of PSGH which helps employ and train indigenous men and women in the construction industry. K2 worked closely with PSGH on a large residential construction project in San Souci, Sydney, and the partnership achieved excellent employment outcomes for the Aboriginal labour force.

The K2 Property Group have a strong commitment to our Indigenous people, particularly when it comes to education and training,” says Mark Coleman, CEO PSGH.

The Real Heroes.

Thank You to the Real Heroes of 2020

Chloe Koundouris, 16, a student of Kincoppal Rose Bay School, was so touched by the kindness and care she experienced recently at St Vincent’s Hospital that she has organised with the support of K2 Development Group, 200 Self Care Packages to St Vincent staff, nurses and doctors in the emergency department; including the stroke unit and the IBAC unit. This is a time when the staff need more of our help and gratitude as they are the ones on the front line saving lives during this pandemic.

“My experience at St Vincent’s was very positive in light of the current pandemic circumstances and I really don’t think people see how hard the staff are working until you experience it yourself first-hand. My experience made me realise how lucky and fortunate we are as a nation to have these heroes in our lives which is why I have been liaising with some small local businesses to put together nice little care packages,” Says Chloe Koundouris, 16-year-old student at Kincoppal Rose Bay.

K2 Development Group have helped Chloe donated 200 Self Care Packages which include 3 course meals from The Cosmopolitan Double Bay, Yoga and Meditation class from Shelter and vouchers from Kristin Fisher Eyebrows and Academic Excellence.

“We’re excited to support this great cause to give back to the ones who give so much to the community.” Says Joel, Head Chef of The Cosmopolitan Restaurant Double Bay.

The Self Care Packages are a way to say thank you to the real heroes of today. Chloe wants to make everyone aware of how hard the staff work every single day even during this pandemic. They also have children and families at home but still put 100% effort to care for us. Chloe is hoping to put a smile on each one of their faces to show how grateful her and her family are as well as the entire Double Bay Community.
